The On-Demand Ordering feature in BES NV is designed by QubicaAMF to help bowling center proprietors sell, monetize, and grow their business.
We spoke to Kurt Geyer, the General Manager at Hampton Lanes, about their experience and success with BES NV’s On-Demand Ordering feature.
How has the On-Demand Ordering feature made a difference in your center?
“The On-Demand Ordering feature has helped us better serve guests who are more comfortable using technology and prefer limited person-to-person interaction. It gives the ordering process a kiosk-style feel, similar to what many made-to-order and fast-food restaurants are now using. Overall, it helps keep our center current with modern ordering trends and guest expectations.”

Have you experienced an increase in revenue from the On-Demand Ordering feature?
“Yes. Approximately 10% of our food revenue is now driven through On-Demand Ordering. In addition, guests using the platform tip an average of 10%, and the feature also includes a 5% service charge. This has made it a meaningful contribution to both sales and overall revenue.”

How has this feature made a difference to your staff experience?
“Overall, our staff has responded very positively to the feature. From a management perspective, it helps us navigate short-staffing challenges, generate additional sales, and allows team members to focus more on other parts of the guest experience. Some servers were hesitant at first because they saw it as a potential threat to their role. Over time, however, they have come to view it as a helpful tool that reaches guests who may not normally engage with staff or prefer not to interact as much.”
How has this feature enhanced your guest experience?
“Orders are sent quickly to our kitchen display system, which helps the process move efficiently. Since guests are entering their own orders, it also reduces the chance of miscommunication or order-entry mistakes. Overall, it has created a smoother and more convenient experience for our customers.”

Do you have any other feedback about the On-Demand Ordering feature?
“I believe this feature is especially valuable for reaching younger generations and guests who are more accustomed to using kiosks, mobile devices, and self-service technology. Some guests are naturally more reserved and prefer minimal social interaction, but they still want full access to food and beverage service. On-Demand Ordering gives them a comfortable and convenient way to order while still allowing us to showcase everything we offer.”
