Conqueror Windows 11 Update

Our teams have received an update from Microsoft, it appears as though the issue has been mitigated as of 2025-10-16 00:01:51 GMT+1.
Depending on the scenario your center experienced, below are the following actions that you should take to apply the solution:
Scenario #1: Windows Update (KB5066835) Uninstalled and Windows Updates Paused
Solution: Perform the following actions;
- Reactivate Windows Updates*
- Allows Windows Updates to Install
- Reboot the Computer(s)
*Please refer to the instructions on how to pause windows updates for instructions on how to restart them.
Scenario #2: Conqueror is currently or has experienced an issue booting
(error message: Unable to reach HTTP services on Conqueror Server. Terminal could not work correctly)
Solution: Perform the following actions:
- Uninstall Windows update KB5066835
- Reboot Computer(s)
- Run Windows Update (note: this will install the updated version of the Windows Update KB5066835, eliminating the issue)
Scenario #3: Conqueror is currently not experiencing an issue and Window 11 Updates are performing as expected.
Solution: In this scenario there is no action to take.

An update regarding the issue experienced with Conqueror and the recent Windows 11 update.
Our teams have engaged directly with Microsoft, who are currently reviewing the matter. We are awaiting their feedback and will share updates as soon as more information becomes available.

To avoid any impact of performance to your Conqueror system, we advise the following steps:
- DO NOT INSTALL any Windows updates
- REMOVE the following Windows updates identified as KB5066835 and KB5065789
- PAUSE any future Windows Updates for now.
