QAMF Pinspotter Summer Maintenance

Maintaining your pinspotters requires a consistent care schedule to ensure optimal pin performance and longevity. Protect your investment now and into the future.

Monthly Tasks

  • Run each pinspotter for 10–15 minutes in continuous cycle.
  • Rotate 4–8 machines at a time to reduce energy costs.
  • Observe for unusual noises, pin jams, or belt issues.

Quarterly Tasks

Rebuild or inspect:

- Distributor assembly
- Pit conveyor and carpet
- Kickbacks and kickback plates

Replace or repair:

- Yokes (X-Frame)
- Broken tables
- Tube weldments

Check and adjust:

- Belt tension and alignment
- Pin elevator and turret timing

Lubricate all moving parts.

Inspect electrical connections for corrosion or wear.

Clean and vacuum:

- Motors, fans, sensors
- Oil and grime from mechanical parts

Annual Tasks (ideally in the summer months)

  • Perform a full mechanical inspection by a certified technician.
  • Replace worn belts, bearings, and bushings.
  • Upgrade firmware/software if applicable.
  • Evaluate for performance upgrades (e.g., EDGE kits).
