Rowans

Originally a tram shed in the 1890’s, a cinema in the 1920’s, a dancehall in the Swinging Sixties, this North London venue even hosted the Beatles in 1963!   By the late 80’s it became a family entertainment center with 24 lanes, bars, restaurant, pool tables and amusement arcade.  A popular sport and leisure venue, Rowans has hosted many famous celebrities including Prince Charles and Jennifer Lopez.  Now as we reach 2021 Rowans Leisure continues to evolve and innovate and as part of their major modernization program they have replaced their traditional pinsetters with the more eco friendly Edge String pinspotters, Harmony Ball Returns and CentrePunch Pindeck lighting to give the lanes that extra sparkle.
