Dutch co-owner Jasper Van Runsoever explains: “What we tried to do concept-wise was take elements from the classic, old-style bowling center and align it with the new HyperBowling game to get a positive tension between old and new. That’s why we chose the Big Lebowski sign, which has a 1970s, retro feel, wood construction and a lot of old-style interior elements, but give it a very modern feel, combining it with HyperBowling, up-tempo music, and a very luxurious boutique area with high-end furniture.”
