Transactions for League Lineage, Shoes & Socks, and More
The Conqueror league module uses a Square eGift card for each BLS league to store banquet funds, trophy funds, generic funds, and league receivables that can be used later. Now, a single transaction manages these categories, as well as league lineage, shoes, and socks, using eGift cards only when applicable. For lineage and shoes & socks transactions, Conqueror will no longer store value on an eGift card and immediately redeem it in the system. This makes league and center daily reporting and reconciliation cleaner and easier to manage for both the center and league secretaries.
Conqueror Receipt Reprint to the Square Terminal
With the new receipt management module, all transaction history is available in POS > Receipt Management. Users can then view detailed Square receipts or re-print physical itemized receipts directly from Conqueror to the connected Square payment terminal.
Conqueror Divide Function in Payment Module
In the Conqueror payment module, in addition to the ability to “Split” items in a check, users can now “Divide” the total evenly among a selected number of guests, with the correct value automatically sent for payment for each part of the transaction.
Liability Dashboards
New dashboards in the QPortal help centers better understand gift card balances and net differences on an ongoing basis. With the Gift Card Liability Dashboard, users can view a breakdown of reservation deposits, league funds, and r actual gift card balances in real time. Balances can also be viewed as of a selected day, as well as details about activations, loads, redemptions, and refunds related to each gift card category to help clarify daily reporting and reconciliation.
The new League Liability Dashboard provides a breakdown of gift card funds to easily see trophy fund, banquet fund, and league receivables balances. This can be done per league or across the center by date .
Square Loyalty Integration – Earning Points via Conqueror
Square delivers powerful Loyalty and Marketing capabilities. For those centers with active Square Loyalty programs, guests will soon have more ways to earn loyalty points from transactions that originate in Conqueror:
Staff can manually attach and confirm a loyalty account in Conqueror to a transaction before a payment is processed (this is helpful in case of cash payments or when guests need help looking up their loyalty account).
Payment cards that are attached to a Square customer profile already enrolled in loyalty will automatically earn points based on the earning rules defined in your loyalty program.
Guests have the option to sign in to their loyalty account on the Conqueror-connected Square payment terminal before or after payment is made, in case the payment card is not already connected to their customer profile.
Loyalty check-in is suppressed in non-eligible scenarios to avoid guest and staff confusion. Don’t have a loyalty program set up yet? It’s easier than you think. Check out this article from Square on Creating a Square Loyalty Program.
Packages Using Square Items
Packages are a key operational component in BEC/FEC businesses. Users will soon be able to combine Square items into bowling packages, set the price for each package and its individual components to align with the desired revenue split, and make them available for sale in Conqueror.
Cash Rounding
Since the US treasury stopped minting the US penny, operators are slowly being forced to eliminate pennies from their accepted currency. Some banks have already stopped supplying pennies to merchants. Accordingly, Square released automatic rounding rules for cash transactions.
