The Alley is a family-owned and operated entertainment center in Santa Fe, NM with 12 lanes of bowling, billiards, darts, shuffleboard, and an arcade. Owner Joey Padilla, installed new scoring, CenterPunch Intelligent Lighting, EDGE String, and Neoverse all this past year.

You installed Edge String, CenterPunch intelligent lighting, BES X, and Neoverse all this past year, what made you consider all these products?
I got the EDGE String machines and the BES X scoring because I was looking for efficiency and seeking overall satisfaction for my clients. Finding a pinsetter mechanic in the past was very challenging and the expense on parts was high. I got the Neoverse and the CenterPunch Lighting because I wanted to give the clients an experience that they have never had.
What has been the biggest overall benefit of installing all these products at once?
I believe that the biggest benefit was limiting the time that we were closed for business.
Out of these products, which has made the biggest impact on your center?
The biggest impact so far is EDGE String. It has saved me money by not having to order parts all the time. It also has made customer satisfaction go up because there are by far less stops while people are bowling. Also, it allows us to focus on the customer instead of worrying about lane issues.
What are the guest benefits you have experienced since installing these products?
Less stops while bowling has made a huge impact on the guests. The BES X scoring system is much more user-friendly than the old scoring system, and Neoverse is the icing on the cake!
What would you say to another center considering a multi-product update?
I would say that this is the wave of the future for bowling. You are either going to wait and watch everyone around you evolve or you are going to take action to upgrade your center.
With the Neoverse, what’s your or your guests, favorite content?
80's theme is by far the favorite. I like the new Fairy Tales one as well.
